Pre-painted and stained panelling – where tradition meets industrial precision

Where craft traditions and technological innovation intersect, Vyrk has perfected the art of industrial panelling.

From our production facility in Valdres – where generations of experience and expertise in wood meet today's production technology – we process all types of panels for houses, cabins and commercial construction projects.

Economic sense meets aesthetic quality

Industrial pre-treatment represents a fundamental shift in the construction industry's approach to surface handling. When panels arrive at the construction site fully processed, time-consuming processes are not only eliminated – the entire building process is transformed and becomes more efficient.

When using painted panelling, we recommend a final coat after installation to ensure complete coverage of the end wood and cut surfaces. This results in a professional end result with the best possible protection.

Stain or paint – aesthetic possibilities in the material's expression

Staining the panels liberates the inherent character and structural identity of the wood, where growth rings and the natural variation of the material become an integral part of the visual expression. If you choose transparent stain for the interior panel, you will have a finished product after installation – without the need for further treatment.

The transparent quality of the stain can be brought out in all shades of colour, from deep, moody dark tones to light, atmospheric stains. Vyrk consistently positions itself at the forefront of the industry with an intuitive understanding of contemporary colour trends and tomorrow's aesthetic preferences.

Colour diversity in the service of precision

Where traditional craftsmanship meets modern technology, Vyrk blends all colour combinations itself. While we also supply Jotun's entire colour range, our in-house, unique stain colours have become a particularly sought-after product.

Natural aging can cause subtle changes in colour shades over time. In the event of overpainting, a splinter barrier is therefore recommended for the best possible evenness. Please note that our colour palette provides an approximate indication only – the stain colours shown in our interior photos may vary from the physical end result.

Three-layer panels – material innovation with historical roots

At the intersection of traditional materials and modern construction principles, we offer three-layer spruce panels, stained in our unique colour range. These panels represent a timeless innovation – a glued spruce structure in three layers that ensures optimal stability and solidity.

The panel solution creates a look that balances the rustic and the sleek – ideal for architectural designs where wide panels with smooth surfaces are desired. We treat the three-layer panels in all our stain colours and also offer surface treatment in Jotun's complete colour range.

Advantages of industrially painted or stained panels

Time and cost efficiency

The elimination of manual processes on the construction site represents a radical increase in efficiency

Treated under controlled conditions

Temperature, humidity and dust-free environments ensure a superior finish

Prevents shrinkage streaks and rot

Technical precision protects against common challenges of manual processing

Design diversity for any architectural concept

In our range, craftsmanship and modern production technology come together in a complete range of panel profiles for interior surfaces. At the same time, we retain the flexibility to plane unique designs adapted to specific project requirements.
